1 out of 5 stars Awful   August 24, 2010
Sophia
This is a very simple and flimsy contraption. It barely supports my weight even when I have it on the highest resistance. One of the handheld resistance bands broke after it's second use and every time I use it now I'm afraid something else on the thing will break. I don't feel like I'm getting a workout because the resistance isn't strong enough and the pedals are thin and don't support my feet very well. If I could give it zero stars I would, it is a big waste of money and you're much better off buying something sturdier that actually works.

Bought device 1 week ago. Plastic footplates broke within 1 week of use. When device becomes available with metal footplates, will recommend device; however, do not recommend device at present.

1 out of 5 stars Walking is Free   June 25, 2010

What was this good for? I'm looking to get back into shape- and walking is a better exercise than this stepper. I'm thoroughly disappointed in this product. I sent it back! It cracks and makes all kinds of noises, you feel as if you're going to break it. Definitely don't recommend!

3 out of 5 stars One important detailed not mentioned here   June 22, 2010

One important thing is not mentioned on this product page, which is that it has a weight limitation of 250 lbs. I bought this stepper to help me recover from a back injury, but at 6'2" and 256 lbs this thing was far too flimsy to hold me up. I didn't see any restrictions on the amazon page, but it is mentioned in the manual. I can't really comment on how well it works, but it seems like a decent machine, if it can hold your weight.

5 out of 5 stars good workout   May 7, 2010

This little stepper is amazingly stable, easy to use and works the whole body. I've been using it to get my strength back after bedrest recuperation post-surgery. Very reasonable price for this quality. Free delivery was remarkably fast.
