Okay, so when my mom (Cynthia) told me she bought this, I facepalmed and thought it was rediculous... Then a few weeks later it showed some improvement, and today it has helped her lose about 10 pounds and almost 3 or 4 inches on her waistline. No, it won't give you nice abs by itself, of course you need to eat right and excersize. But it does help a lot. It did for my mom.

this is awesome. i have only had it for like 2 days so its not long enuf to see a ton of results but this thing is very intense.

I'll admit that I was skeptical about this equipment before it arrived. But then, after using it for three weeks, I'm . . . still skeptical.
This item will appeal to folks who want washboard abs without the strict dietary habits and arduous workouts most people would have to endure to reach such a physical state. As for me, it did have washboard abs once in my life. I had them until about two days after getting out of Army Basic Training.
I don't think this equipment is worthless by any means. I did notice a bit of soreness for the first week of so of use, so something was happening there. However, if you think this item will replace full body and core workouts, I believe you're doomed to disappointment. It's likely to be mostly of value to folks who already have a serious diet and exercise regiment in place, as just one more tool in their bag of tricks. Also, it might be of some value for folks who refuse to do ANY exercise whatsoever.
For the rest of us, it's back to the same old advice: Eat less, exercise more, get plenty of sleep, and forget about crunches.
abdominal muscle toner May 11, 2010

Purchased about 3 weeks ago and have used nearly every day since. Instructions say will begin to see results in about 6 weeks. I wear the belt 40 minutes each session. I can feel the muscles contract and have felt a little soreness but nothing major.
I do NOT expect 'rock hard abs' and no such claim was made. I would merely like to strengthen the abdominal muscles. I have chronic back problems which make it impossible to do sit ups. I am hoping this belt will strengthen the muscles just enough to help me do this.
It is not painful, just a tingling sensation, but you can feel and actually SEE the muscles contracting.
At this point I am very satisfied with the purchase.
